Gear Up For Spring
|
|
By Amy J. Duncan, ACE-certified Personal Trainer
Are the winter blues getting you down? Here are some
fun activities for you to look forward to as spring
approaches.
Group Walks or Runs - don’t be fooled by the
advertisements for 5km and 10km Races. Most “Races”
have a place for walkers and most runners are purely
recreational - not competitive. Some events have a
1mile distance for families or beginners. Visit
www.runohio.com for a “race calendar” and scroll down
for events posted through June.

Shorties T-Ball Great for 1st Time Participants
|
|
|
Parents who have been considering whether or not to
enroll their 3 or 4 year-old in a youth sports activity will
find comfort in Kids America's Shorties T-Ball Program.
T-Ball is a great activity for 1st timers. Children who are
shy or those who have not been exposed to other
children in group play can easily "blend" into a position
with a parent by their side. Unlike some sports where
coaches can get in the way of the game, t-ball has built-
in supervision with base coaches at every base and in
the outfield.
